The domain name belongs to you. We're just registering it on your behalf. After all, we have no use for it, should you decide to move away from our service.

Why should I let RESO360 register my domain?

Although not a complicated process, it's hard to find a company where you can regsiter your domain name, such as GoDaddy.com. Then you'll have to create an account, then register the domain name, pay for it, then have to setup the WHOIS for the domain. Instead, we'll be doing all of this on your behalf, at no extra cost to you.

Do I have to worry about WHOIS?

If you were to register you own domain name, your information such as name, address, email, phone number and fax would be available to whoever wanted to look it up. With our service, the company that registers your domain name would be Restaurant Solutions, so your information wouldn't be public, for privacy issues.

DOMAIN NAME INCLUDED

The domain name is the link that people will enter on their web browser in order to access your website. For example, our domain name is reso360.com. Whenever someone enters reso360.com on their browser, they'll reach our website. The domain name points to a server or IP address, where your website is hosted.

Please note: A domain name is always required for a website.

When you purchase a website plan from us, we'll buy a domain name on your behalf at no extra fee. While ' .com ' is the most common ending to a domain, sometimes .coms aren't available, and we might have to go for .net, .co, .us, or whatever is available. Please note that we aren't responsible for domains that aren't available. We won't be able to purchase domain names that have a price tag more than the usual GoDaddy price of $17.99/year. Alternativaly, if you already have a domain name, we'll work with you to get it set up with the new website.

It's important to note that the domain name will be purchased on your behalf, but that domain name is not ours. Should you decide to move away from our website plans, you can take the domain name with you. We'll never hold your domain hostage. We can either continue to manage that domain name for you for $25/year, or we can transfer the domain to your account for a $25 fee.
