And just like that, 2021 is over! January 2022 is only 3 days away. Januarys also mean a slow month for restaurants, as people have spent a lot of money on the holidays, so they're not eating out as much. Plus, a lot of people start their new year's resolution, which usually means not eating out.

So what should restaurants do? Since it's slow anyways, should they just ride it out?

Saturday, January 8th: Small Business Saturday

This should actually be used every Saturday. Use #SmallBusinessSaturday to get people to support your restaurant

Tuesday, January 11th: Winter Offers

Post your winter offers with your customers. You can also send this as an email blast or text blast. Use hashtag #WinterOffers

Monday, January 17th: MLK Day

Celebrate the life and achievements of the American civil rights leader. Use hashtag #MLKday2022

Friday, January 28th: National Fun at Work Day

Share a picture of your staff having fun at work. PS. Make sure you're asking for permission to post online first. Use hashtag #FunAtWorkDay
